Generally seeded into the forest by birds eating the fruit and dropping the stones, it will appear dotted around a woodland rather than in large stands. To gather enough to make single species batches requires our foresters to select and keep them for us from several compartments. For this reason, we won’t have it often, but it really is a treat, so grab a bag while you can!

This is a fairly dense charcoal and has a rich, darker flavour. Perfect for venison and game.
