FUN, FIRE AND FOREST WORKSHOP 2

14th March 2020

 Dear loyal Whittle and Flame enthusiast

You and yourself and maybe a friend are invited to attend the second Whittle and Flame In The Yard workshop

The day will cost £120 and take place at our Yard at Cornbury Park, West Oxfordshire

It is a day of fun, fire and forests with hanging out at the W&F Yard with Chops and Matt

Your lovely day out will consist of the two of us taking you through a journey of green wood carving and charcoal cookery.

Matt will take you through basic axe carving techniques. He will start by getting you to use your axe in a safe and efficient manor and then guide you through carving a beautiful mushroom from our Cornbury ash.

Chops will then take over the reins and bring you into the world of charcoal cookery. He will explain why and how we use charcoal as method of cooking, whilst guiding you as you use those techniques to help cook our Yard Feast to celebrate the end of the day and your glorious axe work.

 At the end of the day you will have  the opportunity to purchase a Robin Wood carving axe, green wood for your next whittle and even your carving block. You can also pick up as much charcoal as you need as well as our t shirts and other merch.

Bring decent foot ware along with a warm coat if its chilly. Be ready to eat, drink copious amounts for tea along with lots of chat and a  friendly casual day of learning and doing.
